Greetings to the esteemed audience of my dear friend Manolis, one of the very few consistent and thoroughly decent contributors to the Greek crypto community.
In short, I began my journey into crypto confused, looking for meaning and practical uses for this global undertaking, while at the same time trying to avoid the short-lived narratives of the famous con artists who prey on individual greed. Very soon (luckily, before I gave up), I came across Charles Hoskinson's well-known 2017 video describing the original vision of Cardano. And then everything simply clicked into place: I fell in love with the project, and I still follow it faithfully today. I am now an official Cardano ambassador in Greece, a creator of videos and other content, and a co-founder of the first (and only) Greek Cardano DAO, OdyC.
Along the way I inevitably got involved with Midnight too, its little sibling, a privacy blockchain, and I follow it just as faithfully, serving as its regional manager for Greece.
With the OdyC community we have organised several events in Athens and Thessaloniki, I have taken part as a guest in other projects' events, and we try to build applications and experiment on these two blockchains, generally "finding our way", as we say in Greek. Our most recent attempt is a small studio making video games, connected, of course, to elements from Cardano. And there is more to come.
I am open to every kind of collaboration, and both I and the rest of the community offer our services on a non-profit basis, so do not hesitate to get in touch, whether you have an idea or simply want answers to your questions about this magical [sic] world.
